3 interesting places that you should visit!

Are you one of those who love to travel and enjoy the beauty of nature ? love to feel the cool splashing waterfall , comfortable and fresh air, explore the sights of history?

well, here are a few places that I feel quite interesting to visit.

1. Plitvice Lakes National Park ,Croatian

Plitvice Lakes National Park,Croatian :
is one of the oldest national parks in Southeast Europe and the largest national park in Croatia . In 1979, Plitvice Lakes National Park was added to the UNESCO World Heritage register. The national park was founded in 1949 and is situated in the mountainous karst area of central Croatia , at the border to Bosnia and Herzegovina. The important north- south road connection, which passes through the national park area, connects the Croatian inland with the Adriatic coastal region. The protected area extends over 296.85 square kilometers ( 73.350 acres ) . About 90 % of this area is part of Lika - Senj County, while the remaining 10 % is part of Karlovac County .

The national park is world famous for its lakes arranged in cascades. Currently, 16 lakes can be seen from the surface. [5] These lakes are a result of the confluence of several small rivers and subterranean karst rivers. The lakes are all interconnected and follow the water
flow. They are separated by natural dams of travertine, which is deposited by the action of moss, algae, and bacteria. The particularly sensitive travertine barriers are the result of an interplay between water, air and plants. The encrusted plants and bacteria accumulate on top of each other, forming travertine barriers which grow at the rate of about 1 cm (0.4 in) per year.

The sixteen lakes are separated into an upper and lower cluster formed by runoff from the mountains, descending from an altitude of 636 to 503 m (2,087 to 1,650 ft) over a distance of some eight km, aligned in a north-south direction. The lakes collectively cover an area of about two square kilometers (0.77 square miles), with the water exiting from the lowest lake forming the Korana River.

The lakes are renowned for their distinctive colors, ranging from azure to green, gray or blue. The colors change constantly depending on the quantity of minerals or organisms in the water and the angle of sunlight.

Through different climatic influences and the large difference in elevation within the protected area, a multifaceted flora and fauna has been created. The national park area is home to many endemic species. Those species that prevailed at the lakes before the arrival of man still exist.

Fangweng Restaurant is located in China, in Hubei Province, about 12km north of the city of Yichang, near Sanyou Cave, or “The Cave of the Three Travelers”. The restaurant is in the Happy Valley of the Xiling Gorge, an especially scenic stretch of cliffs, caves and park land located around the area where the Chang Jiang River flows into the Yangtze. The entrance to the Fangweng Restaurant is an uninspiring grey brick building, but at the far end of a narrow concrete bridge, the restaurant caves into the cliff, the floor hanging several hundred feet above the ground. From this end, customers can view the flowing water of Yangtze River. For the daredevils, a bungee jumping platform is nearby.
Walking into the restaurant and down the steps, one will come to a natural “cave lobby”. Rightward, a 30-meter-long plank road has been built along the cliffside. It leads to another natural cave, which has been transformed into a dining hall. Warm lighting from the ceiling lends a golden yellow glow throughout. Dimly lit and Chinese-style furnishings blend in with its surroundings. Part of the dining hall hangs out of the cave, where some dining tables are placed. This is a place sitting high in the air, where the flowing waters can be watched from above.

It is said that he had brewed tea in a cave on the mountainside.

Malaysian Economic Indicators: Leading, Coincident & Lagging Indexes May 2015

The Leading Index (LI) which monitors the economic performance in advance decreased in May 2015. The LI posted a decrease of 1.2% to 117.2 points from 118.6 points in April 2015.Two main components that contributed to the decrease were Real Imports of Other Basic Precious & Other Non-ferrous Metal (-0.7%) and Number of New Companies Registered (-0.6%).The annual change of LI dropped to negative 0.2% as against 0.9% in the previous month.     The Coincident Index (CI) which measures the current economic activity, also declined by 0.4% in the reference month. This was due to the decrease in Real Contributions to EPF (-0.5%), Volume Index of Retail Trade (-0.3%) and Total Employment in Manufacturing Sector (-0.1%). The annual change of CI slowed to 2.1% as compared to 2.3% in April 2015.     The annual change of LI and CI in May 2015 showed a slower growth as compared to the previous month. At the same time, the Diffusion Index for LI was below 50.0%, while CI remained above 50.0%. Based on this scenario, it is expected that the Malaysian economy will continue to grow at a slower rate in the following months

paragliding VS hang gliding

what is paragliding and what are hang gliding like? is it as same as paragliding? well readers, if u got these kind of questions in ur head, this is the right site to clear up the confusion.

well, let's talk about paragliding first.

Paragliding is the recreational and competitive adventure sport of flying paragliders:

lightweight, free-flying, foot-launched glider aircraft with no rigid primary structure. The pilot sits in a harness suspended below a fabric wing comprising a large number of interconnected baffled cells. Wing shape is maintained by the suspension lines, the pressure of air entering vents in the front of the wing, and the aerodynamic forces of the air flowing over the outside.

Despite not using an engine, paragliders flight can last many hours and cover many hundreds of kilometers, though flights of one to two hours and covering some tens of kilometers are more the norm. By skilful exploitation of sources of lift, the pilot may gain height, often climbing to altitudes of a few thousand meters.
this is what paragliding looks like.
this is what paragliding looks like.

okay, what about hang gliding? let's get this things clear.

Hang gliding is an air sport in which a pilot flies a light and non-motorized foot-launch aircraft called a hang glider. Most modern hang gliders are made of an aluminium alloy or composite frame covered with synthetic sailcloth[1] to form a wing. The pilot is ensconced in a harness suspended from the airframe, and exercises control by shifting body weight in opposition to a control frame, but other devices, including modern aircraft flight control systems, may be used.

In the sport's early days, pilots were restricted to gliding down small hills on low-performance hang gliders. However, modern technology gives pilots the ability to soar for hours, gain thousands of metres of altitude in thermal updrafts, perform aerobatics, and glide cross-country for hundreds of kilometres. The Fédération Aéronautique Internationale and national airspace governing organizations control some regulatory aspects of hang gliding. Obtaining the safety benefits of being instructed is highly recommended.
